Two of our Design Agency clients recently gave us a very kind mention in their blog posts. We’ve supplied printers into a lot of design agencies over the years and so we appreciate their passion for sourcing the best machines to print their design presentations for new project pitches and client review sessions. Their standards are understandably high, given how much is typically at play and how important it is to get their vision across accurately.
The first mention we received was from Bradley Brand & Design’s post on the importance of successfully portraying colour in their design pitches. Bradley Brand & Design have been a client of ours for many years. As a team of brand consultants and creatives, the most important skill they develop is their ability to showcase their design concepts and communicate (convince) to clients in a way that instills their trust in their new strategic direction.
Here’s what they had to say about sourcing the best-quality colour laser printer for their needs:
Whenever we meet with a client we make sure to have copies of our design presentations ready for review in both digital and print format. While digital presentations are great for pitching concepts to a larger group and emailing a soft copy is best practice, we also print our design concepts on high quality paper to really draw clients into the new design propositions. And we’re very fussy about our printing standards. Our long-time printer supplier PCI Group recently helped us select a new colour-laser Develop multifunction printer, a brand known for it’s colour-printing quality and whose software enables us to calibrate the print tones so they are as close to matching pantone references as is possible, which is critical to selling in a new brand idea or thought. To us, this helps to bring our designs to life, with the colour in the designs sometimes as critical as the name or logo.
The second post was from a new client of PCI’s, Kate Ellard Interiors. Kate and her team work on both large commercial and smaller residential projects but, for them, the standards in presenting design concepts never waivers because earning the client’s trust is crucial to successful project delivery, on time and on budget. Kate herself wrote a fantastic post outlining the process a client can expect when they hire an interior design consultant firm:
[We then] produce a design proposal for you that further visualises the proposed work, while detailing the estimated costs involved. We find this is a really key step in the process so you, the client, feels very confident and excited about the design direction we’re taking. Every proposal is delivered to you in a hard copy and soft copy presentation format for your review and records. Thanks to the advice of our printer suppliers PCI Group, our high-spec colour-laser printer allows us to provide you with the highest-quality, and colour-accurate proofs so you know how each room or element of your space is planned to look.
At PCI, we’re delighted to be able to service the needs of our client’s with multi-brand solutions and specs to match their requirements and budgets. A big thanks to Bradley Brand & Design and Kate Ellard Interiors for your kind mentions and for your ongoing custom. It’s much appreciated!
